TelstraClear Pacific explores the theme "The Coming Together As One" throughout the centre's artworks, architecture and its location. Themes provide an interesting focus for weddings and we've taken time to note down some of the latest wedding trends from around the world in the notes below.

Themes - Personalise the wedding reception venue

Themed weddings may be held either in the traditional locations in the bride or groom's home town, or in a unique far-away setting. Destination weddings may be purely traditional in nature or may also have a theme. The wedding venue place an exciting role in bringing the theme to life.

Wedding Reception Factors to consider

    * Plan the event so that the theme does not overshadow the true meaning of the wedding day.
    * Relax the rules, and allow the wedding to flow naturally without traditional constraints.
    * Themed Period Costumes for the wedding reception may be acceptable if every participant is comfortable with the idea, and the
       additional cost is agreeable to those who pay it.
    * Review the plan with everyone beforehand, especially the officiant.
    * Consider the weather before finalizing the theme plan. The attire should match the season.
    * Evaluate the amount of work required to be performed before the wedding, and how much personal time is available,
       and employ a wedding coordinator as early as possible if one is needed.

Destination Wedding - The Wedding Venue as 'entertainment'

Destination weddings can be a most rewarding experience, however, more planning and long distance preparation is needed than for a traditional local wedding. The entire wedding procedure can be facilitated by working with a representative from Telstra Clear Pacific. A destination wedding opens up possibilities to be creative. Simply by having a themed or destination wedding, the wedding couple has, to the degree they choose, abandoned the conventional. People's expectations have been altered, so the wedding couple might be less likely to feel bound to a traditional wedding template.

One successful strategy for destination weddings is to complete as many tasks as possible before leaving home. Often wedding parties that have had successful destination weddings have discovered that “less is more” when planning extra curricular activities at the wedding reception venue. A venue such as TelstraClear Pacific is a destination unto itself, and guests will take great pleasure in exploring the facility. Austins offer a complete design service including the creation of props and a wide range of imaginative theme concepts.

Fine dining buffet menus are provided by Austin's Food Design Events and can include selections from mouthwatering canapes to start such as mango and cardamon poached breast of chicken with a citrus salad and noodles. Main course ensures your wedding banquet leaves no-one wanting, with choices including seared salmon with salsa verde on Camargue rice and roasted courgette . Tailored menus can be provided at an additional cost.
