Access Stream

The Vodafone Events Centre is host to excellent live and theatre performances, musicals, symphonies and concerts which children and young people will both learn from and enjoy. With the support of our sponsors, the Access Stream provides opportunities for schools to attend these events for free or with student ticket prices. Teachers may also link these events to school curriculum and access teachers resources, if available, for further exploration and enhancement of creative thinking.

Schools also have greater access to the venue at special rates. Whether it is an end of year awards or a school production season, the Vodafone Events Centre will sponsor 50% of the venue hire cost.

The schools programme also accommodate schools in need of a venue at short notice depending on availability. Groups may book a venue for a rehearsal or even for a class outside the classroom. If the space is available, it’s free of charge!

The centre is also available for free venue tours. Students can learn how architecture can reflect theme while enjoying the venue’s public art collection.
