
FREE TICKETS FOR SCHOOLS
The Manukau Symphony Orchestra is pleased to offer free tickets to Manukau schools to its Subscription Concerts in 2008 through its "Free Tickets for Schools" programme.
A maximum allocation of 2 adults and 8 students per school is available per concert. Tickets will be allocated in the order of bookings received.

Fancy a walk through the Gardens of Spain? This concert is a delight for all the senses with picturesque music by De Falla and Debussy, and Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major performed by Christopher Hinterhuber, an outstanding young pianist from Austria.
Saturday 9 August: 7.30pm - 10pm Sunday 10 August: 2.30pm - 5pm
Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December 2008 EROICA
Helen Medlyn is one of the country's best-loved divas. She has starred in everything from cabaret to opera, and will shine in Mahler's expressive Rückert Lieder. After the interval, be awed and uplifted by Beethoven's Eroica ("Heroic") Symphony No.3. From the mighty opening chords to the final notes, this is indeed a masterwork. Conducted by MCSO Music Director Uwe Grodd.

Bookings must be made on the booking form below and should be received by the Manukau Symphony Orchestra at least one week before the concert you wish to attend. Please feel free to make extra copies of the booking form or book all your tickets for the year in one go. We will confirm your booking and post your tickets to your school.
