Welcome to the most iconic Pacific themed venue in Auckland
TelstraClear Pacific is a multi purpose award winning events centre in Auckland City which opened in April 2005. It embraces and showcases within our community arts, entertainment, sport, leisure and the business interests of the culturally diverse population of Auckland. It is a living expression of Pacific arts and culture attracting national and international visitors.
The project was developed and operates in partnership between Counties Manukau Pacific Trust and Auckland Council for our community.
Vision
“To provide an iconic heart for Manukau and Auckland and
an irresistible destination for all others.”
With the support of Aukcland Council and our sponsors, we deliver programmes promoting the arts and youth orientated events to our community and schools.
The central purpose of TelstraClear Pacific has been defined as:
“A multi purpose events centre for all the people of Auckland –
promoting art, culture, business and leisure, to celebrate our excellence and diversity.”
TelstraClear Pacific has two main venues: the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena and the Genesis Energy Theatre, which are capable of hosting the following events:
- Performing arts – dance, theatre and music
- Conferences, meetings, and seminars
- Exhibitions, trade shows
- Concerts and community events
- Banquets
- Indoor sports
TelstraClear Pacific is much more than just an events centre; it is a contemporary Town Hall serving the whole community. It represents the important themes of a diverse, young, exciting and prosperous nation coming together as one.
The theme developed during the design of the project provided fertile ground for the inclusion of artwork. It is with great pleasure and with the support of our patrons and sponsors that we can showcase a permanent collection of artworks for the public to freely appreciate.
